ObjectFrontier CEO Rich Napoli Represents US in Japan at G20 Engagement Session on Digital Transformations
Atlanta, GA, June 24, 2019 - Leading digital strategists, including ObjectFrontier Inc. (OFS) CEO Rich Napoli, discussed digital transformations at the Japan CDO Summit, an event allied with the G20 Osaka Summit, on June 4-5, 2019. The event took place in Fukuoka, Japan, to provide input for the upcoming G20 meeting.
The CDO Club of Japan invited OFS CEO Rich Napoli to speak at the fourth annual Japan CDO Summit, held earlier this month. At this “D20” (Digital 20) summit, leading digital strategists from around the globe gathered to discuss the state of digital transformations.
“We talked about the opportunities, challenges, and pace of the digital transformations taking place in our countries,” said Napoli. “It was great meeting so many interesting folks from around the world!”
In the roundtable discussions, the D20 representatives addressed important questions associated with the impact of the digital age, such as
- How should we create new business in the changing flow of industrial structure caused by the progress of digitization?
- How should CDOs (chief digital officers) address the changes in the data-centric business model caused by the development of digital technologies such as IoT and AI?
- What economic system should be created to communicate the value in using and distributing digital information as new “value”?
A goal for the Japan CDO Summit was to provide input for the G20 summit in Osaka, Japan, scheduled for June 28-29. Digitalization and its effects on the economy promises to be a theme.
